If you have a smartphone (and most of us do these days), you can make some extra cash! Over the past few years, I have downloaded many of these apps to try out and done research on many others so I could write about them. In today's post, I'm listing out for you ten of the best smartphone apps for earning money.
10 Smartphone Apps For Earning Money
Here are just a few of the apps you can use to earn money with:
1 – Ibotta
Over the last few years, Ibotta has quickly grown into one of the most popular, most downloaded shopping apps you can earn from. While there are now several different ways to earn with Ibotta, my favorite is to just use it for grocery shopping.
I check their offers each week and see if there is anything I'd like to buy that they have listed. If there is, you just buy it and scan your receipt. Ibotta will put the cash back amount they advertised into your account.
You can redeem your earnings once you have $20 in your account. Paypal is a popular option, but you can also get a variety of different gift cards. I've been using Ibotta for a long time now, and I've been paid many times.
Go here to get Ibotta, or read our Ibotta review first.
2 – SavingStar
SavingStar is very similar to Ibotta, listed above. The main difference is that SavingStar works primarily by allowing you to connect your grocery store loyalty cards to their app. Then, when you buy certain things and your loyalty card was scanned, SavingStar will know it and put the cash back amount they advertise into your account.
You can get paid once you have at least $20 in your account. SavingStar will send the money to your bank account, or you can request a Paypal deposit. Another option is to donate your earnings to charity.

3 – Swagbucks
While you probably know Swagbucks primarily as a popular rewards site, they do have a really, really good app as well. Basically, you can do all the things via the app that you might do with Swagbucks on the web.
With the app, you can earn money for shopping, watching videos, and also for taking surveys.
Swagbucks is known for having a low, $5 cash out threshold. You can redeem for a variety of different things, including Paypal money or Amazon codes.
Go here to sign up with Swagbucks, or read our Swagbucks review first.
4 – Field Agent
This one is now for both Android and iPhone users. Download the app free and check it regularly for odd jobs in your area. You may be asked to take pictures of store displays, store hours, or even answer surveys at home about various products you use.
Payment is direct deposit to your bank account.
Check out our Field Agent review to learn more and sign up.
5 – Gigwalk
Gigwalk is a lot like Field Agent. You get paid to do short little jobs around your town, things that don't take up a lot of time. Payment is through Paypal and jobs pay between $3 and $50. You can use it with both iPhone and Android devices.
Check out our Gigwalk review to learn more and sign up.
6 – ShopKick
Download this app for free and turn it on when you go shopping. Scan the products it tells you to scan and you'll earn “kicks” that you can redeem for different things.
You can also earn for scanning and submitting receipts of things you buy and for walking (or “checking in”) to stores you visit.
You can use Shopkick for Apple or Android devices.
Download Shopkick here, or read our Shopkick review to learn even more about how it works first.
7 – Receipt Hog
This is another shopping app that has gotten very popular. To use it while you're shopping, just take a picture of your receipt with your phone and upload it to the app.
After they receive your receipt, Receipt Hog will send you “coins” that are redeemable for cash or charitable donations. You can redeem these coins for Amazon codes, Mastercard or Visa e-gift card/code, Paypal cash, or free magazines.
You can use Receipt Hog at any store with no limitations.

If you have an Apple or Android device, you can use EasyShift to get paid to shop, eat, and explore in your city. Another plus, this one is open to people in the US and the UK!
The tasks you do are easy. Most of the time it's taking pictures of products in stores, checking prices, and things like that.
You should be eligible for a payment 48 hours after your completed tasks are approved. Payments are sent via Paypal.
Read our EasyShift review to learn more.
9 – Rewardable
Rewardable is like a cross between the Swagbucks app and EasyShift or Field Agent (listed above). You can earn the same ways you can on Swagbucks — at home — doing surveys, watching videos, etc. But you can also use it outside your home to do tasks in stores and give product feedback to earn.
The app is available for Apple or Android devices. They pay via Paypal fairly promptly from what I've been reading after you've completed tasks.

10 – FeaturePoints
This is another good app that I've used and been paid by. You can use them to do the typical things like surveys and cash back shopping. You can also earn by downloading and trying out new apps.

Did you know? $1 312 477 - that's how much money people spent on mobile app purchases last year. But users aren't the only ones paying money for their favourite games. Developers also pay good money for game/app downloads to people who help spread the word. So if you know what kind of person likes a specific game you can make pretty good money.
First, I'll show you where you can find out which apps developers are ready to pay for and how much. There are a few services to choose from: Affbank, Make Massive, O’digger, etc... I personally prefer Affbank. There are several reasons I recommend this service:
1. Biggest catalogue of products you can promote
2. The only service that has a free spy tool to look for promo (very convenient)
3. Quick free registration (you can do it with Facebook)
4. A rating of affiliate and advertising networks with reviews of real Affiliates (easy to choose)

If you don't have experience with affiliate marketing, I recommend reading these articles first (What is traffic arbitrage? How to Start in Affiliate Marketing: an Easy Step-by-Step Guide).
Our goal: to find the right app (offer) and make money on selling it. Here is what you need to do to make it happen:
• Select the offer (app/game) in the Games , Mobile Apps categories
• Sign up for the appropriate affiliate network
• Choose a quality advertising network that's easy to use (here are the top 20)
• Create an advertising campaign and send traffic to it
• Sell the mobile game/app and get your money
Money Earning Apps In India
Let's go over each point.
Select an offer
As I've already mentioned, there are a lot of services, but I'm going to talk about Affbank here. Go to Offers and set the filter to Games, Mobile Apps (and any other filters you like). To go to a list that's already been filtered, click here. You can read more about selecting an offer here.
Sign up for the affiliate network
On the offer page, you'll see the name of the affiliate network that posted it. Open the affiliate network card (screenshot), consider all the pros and cons, and take a look at the reviews. (about how to choose Affiliate Network, read here) If everything looks good to you, click 'Join now'. You'll be sent directly to the signup page, where you can join the affiliate network.
Choose a quality advertising network that's easy to use
Here, you have to put to use everything you know about mobile games. Think about the kind of person who would buy the app you've selected. You'll select an advertising network based on your profile. First, take a look at the selection of the best ads networks from Affbank (Top Ads Networks 2018). Make sure that the network you select has a lot of users (you need 500 000 min hits). It depends on targeting (GEO, Carrier, Age, Behaviour, etc.) and ad formats. For example, it will be easier for newbies to work with banners and pop-unders.
Create an advertising campaign and send traffic to it
Sign up for the advertising network, get the manager's contact information, and create your advertising campaign with their help. I recommend not spending your entire budget on the first campaign. It's best to test advertising platforms and targeting settings. Tip: start working with a wider audience, and then gradually turn off unprofitable sources. Carefully go over the product you're selling. This will make it easier to explain it to your target audience.
Get conversions and money
What counts as a conversion depends on the offer and the affiliate network. For mobile games, a conversion usually means an app download. In other words, when the user downloads the app, you get a new lead (conversion). The network pays you a set sum for every lead (It calls payout). Make sure that you're making more money than you're spending on advertising. That's the whole point :). People usually look at their return on investment (ROI) to see assess how well the campaign did.
Of course, you'll run into some challenges your first time. But don't worry, the internet has answers to all of your questions. Just use your money wisely and everything will work out in the end. Below are some links that may help:
